PK Vs. Sentiments
Sometimes I feel so gloomy and shattered because of the
right that our Democracy and constitution gives i.e. Right to Speak. Anyone
just stood up and express his/her feelings without thinking or caring about
others. Past few days I spent in thinking about the scenes of Amir Khan’s newly
released movie PK.
As like everyone has his own view point, I have also a
viewpoint which I want to share with the mass. I heard many of the respected
Dharma-Gurus (been of any religion) saying that the movie PK has sent a wrong
message in the mass by showcasing the Gods in a depraved manner.
I heard many people / respected Dharma-gurus saying that
many scenes of PK has spread a wrong message by wrong posturizing of the
respected Hindu Gods like Lord Shiva, the destroyer of fear is running to save
himself. I just want to ask one simple question to them and to all of you that is
it correct that everyone/anyone is allowed to dress-up like our Gods. If anyone
of you has watched a revolutionary/devoting Punjabi movie “Chaar Sahibzadey” in
which they filled voice in every cartoon character in spite of our respected
Guru Shri Gobind Singh ji. To which they said that we don’t feel that anyone is
capable of filling his voice. This is what we call as respect and devotion to
our Gurus.
But in our so called Hinduism, everyone is allowed to act
like our Gods, dress-up like our God and look like our Gods. We are so obsessed
with our God-ism and fake Hinduism that we are not devoted but we are
selling/making business in the name of our Gods. You don’t know what kind of
person he is who is acting like God in the serials. He/she may be gulping
chicken with sips of beer or may have so many affairs. Is this what you call a
respect or devotion to Gods?
I think PK is an awakening for all those who are making
business in the name of God. These sellers or businessman got so scared with
the popularity of PK that they thought if they wouldn’t stop this then one day
they may have to shut down their businesses. I think PK is also an awakening
for people like us who are following such Dharma-Gurus. And what sought of
Dharma-Gurus are we following who are indulging in sex-rackets, who are so rich
that they have billions of money as hard-cash and who can use innocent public
as armor to safeguard him from an arrest.
If we really believe in Gods, then firstly we should respect
humanity and we should respect every religion. Very rightly said in our
patriotic song “Majhab Nahi Sikhata Aapas Me Bair Rakhna”, no any religion
teaches to divide, fight and kill. Leave the religion for politics, those
foolish Dharma-Gurus and business men who want to earn their bread on such
grounds.
