PK Vs. Sentiments

Sometimes I feel so gloomy and shattered because of the right that our Democracy and constitution gives i.e. Right to Speak. Anyone just stood up and express his/her feelings without thinking or caring about others. Past few days I spent in thinking about the scenes of Amir Khan’s newly released movie PK. As like everyone has his own view point, I have also a viewpoint which I want to share with the mass. I heard many of the respected Dharma-Gurus (been of any religion) saying that the movie PK has sent a wrong message in the mass by showcasing the Gods in a depraved manner. I heard many people / respected Dharma-gurus saying that many scenes of PK has spread a wrong message by wrong posturizing of the respected Hindu Gods like Lord Shiva, the destroyer of fear is running to save himself. I just want to ask one simple question to them and to all of you that is it correct that everyone/anyone is allowed to dress-up like our Gods. If anyone of you has watched a revolutionary/devo...

Flight Air India - Culture of India while in the Air

What are those two important things which we do when some guest visits or family member comes to our home?  “Namaste” this is how we greet our guests. The very next moment we bring water for our guests or family or any other person who comes to our home. These are the most valuable cultures which makes us different in the world. My job profile enables me to travel a lot across the world. I have tested and tried many of the air carriers. The kind of hospitality by the crew, aroma in the carrier and coziness in the seats that I have found in Air India, I have never found in any of the flight. Above all, the way they greet and maintain the cultures of India in the flight as well, it’s marvelous and enough to leave behind the others. Do you know which the thing that impresses an Indian the most is? It is not scotch. I am saying the thing that can impress an Indian and scotch only drool the Indian.  Water is that thing which impresses an Indian because branded scotch can’...

The Best Gift of Life

In any culture and relation, gifts play a vital role in strengthening the bonds. The value, size and brand of the gift don’t matter, what matter is the love, feelings and gratitude behind that gift. In absence of these, I think its waste. “The Best gift” of life is what is given by the best person of our life.  What do you think, who is the best person or who are the best persons in our life. In my life, my mother and father are the best persons. What would be the best gift that a mother or father would give to his/her daughter? I believe “The Best Gift” a father can give to his son is a “Piggy Bank” . I know that Money is not everything in the life but without money as well there is nothing in life. When I say a piggy bank, I don’t mean the typical plastic pig where we used to save our coins. So whenever life shows a rough path, then he should be able to walk through that patch instead of begging or lending money.   A best quote these days is “A Man Who Treats His Gir...

Love Jihad vs. Humanity

Image
After 68 years of Independence and being well-educated human being of 21 st century, what we are giving back to our nation is Love Jihad. Alas! What are we doing with the lives and sentiments of our nation to whom we call our motherland? This is what a child like us should pay back to his/her motherland that despite of uplifting it we are continuously slaughtering its image by rapes, murders, loot, communal riots and now Love Jihad. Does this combination of two antonyms Love and Jihad make sense to anyone? Love is the positive word whereas Jihad is a well-known word with full of negativity . Can we combine these two words and make a beautiful place to live. Why we are so much interested in taking about conversions and reconversions of people into other religion/s. Since childhood what we have learnt that God is one been it Alah, Waheguru, Jesus or any hindu God . How does it matter that to which religion we belong to or of which God do we worship. The only thing ma...

Generation Gap

Image
Without any hesitation we murmur a phrase in front of our parents “You don’t understand me”. Is this a correct definition of Generation Gap? Do you think so? While sitting at my seat in my office and listening to my colleague's non-senses, I noticed that time and again he was repeating some lines. Those lines were, “I am planning a vacation trip to Kashmir” and “My Grandmother is not feeling well and my dad is forcing me to take her to Doctor (in Calcutta)”. To my utter shock those were not simple lines, he was telling his problems. He was planning a vacation trip to Kashmir. He told me that he has planned a 6 Days/5 Nights trip and he has booked some exotic hotel in Pahalgam. The whole trip was costing him around 50k to 60k. He was happy and was apprising everyone in the team. Suddenly he got a phone call from his dad and his loud harp sound turned to mourning expression. Courtesy I asked him – What has happened? And those were my last words because by then he start...

Torments

For few days and for some reasons, things are not going my way. After so much analysis, drilling down, roller coaster drives and reducing weight by 3 KG, suddenly I got the answer. The answer is these TORMENTS. Some stupid people with their senseless comments make our life-A Hell. I don’t know why people take so much interest in spoiling other’s life. These days’ people are not happy with glee in their life but aggravated due to happiness in other’s life. I feel pity for them because they don’t have guts & just spending their lives with a solo axiom of spoiling other’s lives. Pity for those poor people who lose their strength & become a prey for such tormenters. How these poor people will face because there are lot of wolves in this world who at every step enjoy bullying. I think we should be very careful and strong enough to stop such bullies. If we do not stop them today then our Life will change from optimum to glum to hades. Sometime we are helpless because som...

Life -- A Cage

Image
My friend is residing in a PG, on the Land of FILM STARS -- Aamchee Mumbai. There we can find from huge well constructed Buildings, acquainted with lots of facilities to Slums. No No No… don’t take me wrong, I am neither commenting on the life style of Film Stars nor discussing havocs of SLUMS. But something else which is more misfortune, a pain but still we call it A LIFE. My friend told me that she has a pet, a parrot in her room. She told me that when she returns home from office and enters in the room, Parrot starts chirping and fills the room with saccharine whistle.  She loves playing with Mithoo (her parrot’s name). They sing Duets, play Antakshree, converse (obviously in their respective languages because Mithoo does not know Punjabi).I want to be the part of that conversation because I want to see who talks more - My Friend or Mithoo. How Mithoo sleeps is also a lovely style, Mithoo folds its neck in a very exquisite way and then sleep. My friend gives a handkerchief to...
